Erasing Boundaries – Freedom of Space Use
As we find ourselves in times of difficult transitions, including post-COVID recovery, economic crises, and climate change, we feel the need for spaces that are inherently flexible. Inbetween is a project that seeks to rethink living and working environments in alignment with the demands of current global challenges. This project responds to the discourse around in-between spaces that blur the boundaries between the city and its inhabitants, living and working environments, as well as interior and exterior spaces.

At first glance, Inbetween may appear as a simple, generic residential/work block, but in fact, it is full of potential and spatial freedom. Inbetween offers transitional spaces, so-called “spaces of possibility,” inviting users to actively participate in shaping their own living environment. These spaces of possibility embrace transformation, creating a platform for building sustainable social, economic, and ecological relationships between users and their living/working spaces, as well as between users and their public spaces.

A happy life is also measured by the quality of relationships with neighbors. By providing freedom in the use of space, a return to nature, and human well-being (prosperity), Inbetween focuses on establishing a happy life among its residents.
