The construction of the mosque lasted over 10 years and was it opened in 1980. In 1983 the mosque received the „Aga Khan Foundation“ international award.
Our company “Sinteza” in coordination with the mosque architect, from 2017 to 2018 worked on the rehabilitation project of the mosque roof, which included replacement of the previously installed copper cover and restoration of the characteristic white color with modern technologies of construction and materials. Also, the adaptation of the sanitary and economic block of the building was completed.
